A Journey of Self-Understanding
I don’t know anything.
If the Universe is infinite, I understand 0% of it.
But maybe it’s not meant to be understood. Maybe it’s meant to be experienced.
Experience comes in two categories:
- The Familiar
- The Unknown
I’ve had plenty of the familiar. It’s time I join the Unknown.
Every month, I’m going to choose a question — an “Unknown” — that will alter the way I experience Life. I will ask myself this question literally every minute of every day and share how it shapes my actions, relationships, and identity. All in real-time.
The core of the question is this:
If every human being on earth asked themselves this same question, would the world be a better place?
In a perfect world, the answer would be “Yes!”
But I can’t speak for the world. I can only speak for ME — My Experience. If the question improves my life, I’m on the right track. If it doesn’t, there’s always next month.
I’ll post a blog article, a poem, and a video each day for 30 days. This will ensure that I keep them short, sweet, and unpretentious. Because remember when I said “I don’t know anything”?
That’s not true. I know one thing:
I have no right to tell you how to live your life.
I’m happy to share my experience, but I’m not you.
You are Your Own Unknown.
You are YOU.
But if we share the same question, we share the same quest.
I’ll seek ME. You seek YOU. And we’ll share clues along the way.
We’re all in this life together. 🙂
The Question of the Month for April 2018:
How do I live joyfully every moment?
